| GK Murray Claassen accepting Awards on behalf of Council 10208 |
Grand Knight Murray Claassen accepted the Faith Award, Community Award, and the CPID Award on behalf of Council 10208 presented by District Deputy Andy Anderson. Council 10208 received two of the four Service Program Awards offered by the State Council for the Fraternal year 2020-2021.
The Faith Award was presented to the council in recognition of our support of the DOLR Seminarians. The council raised over $48,000 for the support of our seminarians in 2020.
The Community Award was presented to the council in recognition of our assistance with the COVID vaccine clinics in the village.
This CPID award is presented to the council that raised the most money during the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities.

Council 10208 of Hot Springs Village achieved 114% of our goal for Star Council. On Behalf of all the members, past Grand Knight Ed Doyle for the 2018-2019 Fraternal year, accepted the award from District Deputy Andy Anderson.

o Fr. Bill Elser on his 60th Birthday, October 2nd:
Two weeks ago, during a homily, Fr. Bill mentioned that one of his favorite classes in the Seminary was Church History. After thoughtful consideration, we decided that Council 10208 could present him with three of Pope Benedict XVI’s books. “Fathers of the Church”, “Fathers of the Church (Vol. 2), and “Doctors and Teachers of the Church”. Although there are some redundancies in these publications, we pray you’ll enjoy reading them. Happy Birthday from your Brother Knights!
