Brother Knight Chris and Donna Mullaney with the Family of the Month Award presented by Grand Knight John Weirdert |
Brother Knight Chris and Donna Mullaney are always front and center and continually involved in all the quality projects our Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and Ladies of Sacred Heart (LOSH) organizations are involved in.
Donna serves as the Financial Reporter for LOSH, where she is responsible for reconciling the financial records and reporting her findings to the LOSH Board of Directors and members.
Donna is a member and Treasurer for Guild #4, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, where she develops the annual budget with the Guild Captain, reconciling all the financial records and reports these results to the Guild Members.
Donna helps out whenever and wherever possible with the LOSH Golf Tournament, their Card Parties and Bake Sales.
Chris and Donna support and help out in planning, organizing, and running events such as our Valentines Dinner, our Potlucks and our Parish Dinners.
Chris and Donna are both Sacred Heart of Jesus, Perpetual Eucharistic Adores. They get an enormous amount of personal satisfaction by being with, talking too, and finding out what our Lord feels is the best way for each of them to become the best person they can possibly be.
Chris is the Team Lead, buys the stock and runs our Sacred Heart of Jesus Refreshment Center and Bar here in our Lower Hall. I know none of us would want to do without these refreshments during our Council, Assembly, and all the other Parish Meetings and Events.
Chris is on the Kitchen Crew. And no doubt, Bob Kulas, will tell you Chris's talent and service is invaluable when it comes to all the Breakfasts, Spaghetti Diners and other charity fund raising meals our Knights provide.
Chris and Donna Mullaney are exceptional as a husband and wife team and extraordinary when acting on their own behalf. These superb individuals are well deserving of being honored as Family of the Month for March 2025.

L-R Brother Knight Pietro, Jackie Tomassi and Grand Knight John Weidert |
Brother Knight Pietro and Jackie Tomassi are superb Parishioners. They were members of St. Mary's Parish after coming from Miami Florida in 2003. Pietro was introduced to the Kairos Prison Ministry and the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degrees, by Deacon Joe Harrison, in 2005. In addition to St. Mary's, this ministry is now supported by Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and St. John's. And, Pietro, in conjunction with Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and Father Bill, help financially support the Kairos Prison Ministry. Pietro currently leads 2 annual Kairos Ministry Weekends and is a member of the Kairos Advisory Team. And Pietro and Jackie are both Social Justice Committee Members. As you can see, Pietro and Jackie are both very active in the Kairos Prison Ministry. In Addition, in 2007, while at St. Mary's, Pietro was one of the first volunteers to help start the Haiti Mission Ministry. A ministry which has done a lot of very needed work over the years.
In 2016, Pietro and Jackie transferred to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Parish and Pietro became a Knight in our Council. And Jackie became a member of our Ladies of Sacred Heart Guild #4 and Parish Council Member. Jackie took on the responsibility, and with the able assistance of Lucy Klier, prepares all the 4th Degree Knights Assembly Meeting Meals for Fraternal Year 2024-25. In addition to this undertaking, Jackie and Pietro regularly provide and serve the meals at the quarterly Knights of Columbus, Little Rock, St. Francis House Veterans Program and always volunteer for our Sacred Heart of Jesus food for needy families program during the Christmas Season. As well as all the charitable activities they participate in, Jackie and Pietro are both choir members, they are both Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Adores, and Pietro is a member of our Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. It goes without saying that Pietro and Jackie Tomassi are exceptional individuals in their own right and are unbeatable as a Team. No doubt, they are very well deserving of the award of Family of the Month for February 2025.
