Jerry and Alison Kordsmeier are extremely involved in making this Parish be the best it can be.

To make this happen, Alison is an active member of or Ladies of Sacred Heart Guild #1, a Jackson House Volunteer and Volunteers at the Hot Springs Village Loan Closet.

To his credit, Jerry is a 4th Degree Knights Officer, an Honor Guard Member, our Council Program Director, Chairman of Samaritan Ministries, Co-chair of our CPID Program, on the Taste of Faith Committee and Ushers at the 5 p.m. Masses.

As a couple, Alison and Jerry are afternoon leaders for the Adoration Chapel and help with St. Francis Meals a number of months during the year and work Parsh Special Events.  When you consider all Jerry and Alison are involved in, and the lives they touch, they are exceedingly worthy of the award of September Family of the Month.

In the spirit of recognizing outstanding contributions to our community, we are delighted to announce Frank and Lucia Klier as our Knights of Columbus Family of the Month. Their unwavering dedication and selfless service have left an indelible mark on our organization and the Sacred Heart of Jesus community.

Frank and Lucia have been instrumental in the success of numerous events and venues, tirelessly devoting their time and effort to ensure everything runs smoothly. From the meticulous set-up and thorough clean-up of our gatherings to providing overall support with a generous spirit, their commitment has been nothing short of invaluable.

Their willingness to go above and beyond in serving others exemplifies the core values of the Knights of Columbus: charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. Frank and Lucia embody these principles through their actions, demonstrating what it truly means to be knights in service to our community.

In addition to their contributions to the Knights of Columbus, Lucia's involvement in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Saturday night choir and her participation in the church's flower plant care committee further illustrate their deep-rooted commitment to their faith and the well-being of our parish.

As we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Frank and Lucia Klier for their exceptional service and dedication, let us also take this opportunity to reflect on the importance of supporting one another in our shared mission of service and love. Their selfless example inspires us all to strive for excellence in our service to others and to continue building a community founded on compassion, generosity, and solidarity.

Please join us in congratulating Frank and Lucia Klier on being named our Knights of Columbus Family of the Month. May their continued service be a source of inspiration and blessing to us all, as we journey together in faith and fellowship.

Grand Knight Gary Wolfer presenting the 2024 March Family of the Month Award to Mike and Carolyn Nee

Mike and Carolyn are relative newcomers(2022) to the village and love it here and their church family at SHJ.

They are in awe of even being considered much less being selected as family of the month. Mike and Carolyn both tutor at Mountain Pine Elementary. Mike Tutors math while Carolyn tutors reading. They both serve on the Decorating Team for the church and Mike helps with setups and tear downs for knight's or knight sponsored events. Carolyn is Co-Captain of LOSH Guild 7 and is a substitute Eucharistic Adorer.

Mike and Carolyn are blessed to have their oldest son's family living on the east side of the Village. Spending time with their school aged grandsons is a joy and they are happy to help their working parents when the need arises. They help their grandchildren with their schoolwork and help to guide them toward a faith-based life in the Catholic church.

Mike is also the bass player with the Village band Encore.

Congratulations on you well deserved Family of the Monty Award!!
