Dick outlined the following timeline for the process:
September 11 | Privileges will be suspended for all property owners not in good standing to determine who may vote and the number needed for a quorum. |
September 17 | There will be a town hall meeting at 3:00 pm in the Coronado Center to explain and discuss the assessment increase. |
September 28 | Proxies will be mailed to property owners in good standing. |
October 28 | 9:00 am is the deadline by which mailed proxies must be received. |
October 29 | 10:00 am membership meeting in the Coronado Center is the deadline to vote in person. |
Information about the assessment has been published in the Voice and the fall issue of the Advocate. The POA website, www.hsvpoa.org contains information under the heading "2010 Assessment Campaign."
Dick has been a knight since October, 2008, when he joined Council 10208. He advanced to the 3rd degree in April, 2009, and accepted his current program director position in June, 2009. Dick was a member of the POA Board of Directors 2002-2008, serving as its president 2004-2006. He is currently serving on a board committee overseeing the assessment campaign.
