Welcome to the revised and updated web site for Council 10208 and Assembly 2316. The web site has been given a modern "look and feel". Changes to the web site include, but are not limited to:
- The heading has been changed to give the site a clear and specific identity for both the Council and the Assembly.
- The Home page has been given a contemporary 'newspaper' look. News articles may include a Read More button to view the entire article. This also allows for more headlines in a shorter space.
- Most web site photos can be enlarged by clicking on the photo. These photos have a magnifying glass in the lower right corner.
- Primary selection buttons are located across the top, so the left column of each web page can include current and important content such as Upcoming Events, Prayer List, Web Site Search, and Login Form etc.
- Some web site content (membership directory, meeting minutes, and budget reports) can only be viewed when a member has logged in using the Login Form in the left column. Once a member has logged in, all restricted content in any part of the site can be viewed during that session.
- All of the web site content can be searched using the Web Site Search box that appears on every page. More selective searching can be performed in the Articles page under the History tab. Remember, login is required to search restricted content.
- The Photos section has been updated.
- A printer icon will appear with the home page articles and with some other items on the site. By clicking the icon, only the article or specific item will be passed to the printer, rather than the whole section or page.
- The entire web site is now "server based" and can be managed using a standard internet browser from any location. Management of the site is controlled by using secure login access. These are major benefits for those officers and directors who provide content for the web site as well as for the web site manager.
Take some time and browse through the updated web site to gain familiarity and to discover new web site content.
Assembly information will be gradually added to the site, since the revised and updated version is now in production.
