Bill and Diane have been chosen for this award for their leadership in the church and for Bill's years of service to the knights.

They moved to the Village in 1995 from Dallas TX, where Bill had been a vice president of production and drilling for a private oil company.  They are the parents of six children, four girls and two boys, and they now have 11 grandchildren.  

Bill became a knight in 1962 and joined the 4th Degree Assembly here in 2000.  He was honored as Knight of the Month in October 2001 and he and Diane were Family of the Month in January 2007.  

For Council 10208 Bill is currently in his 2nd year as Treasurer and is amember of the 1st Degree Exemplifucation Team.  He served as Grand Knight in 2002-2004 and subsequently as a Trustee, as Chancellor and Program Director in 2001-2002, and as Warden 2000-2001.   For the 4th Degree Bill is currently a trustee and a member of the Honor Guard.  Previously, he was Faithful Navigator in 2006-2007, Faithful Captain in 2005-2006, and Faithful Pilot in 2004-2005. 

For Sacred Heart of Jesus Bill is currently a server and a Eucharistic Minister as well as serving on the Cemetery Board.  He previously was a member of the Pastoral Council with one year as Chair, served on the Liturgy Commission for several years and was in charge of the altar servers for 10 years.  He was also on the Planning Committee for the Administration and Education building. 

In the community Bill was previously active in the Tennis Association and a member of its board.  He is currently serving on the board and the treasurer of the Village Genealogy Society. 

For 25 years Diane had been either a leader or a participant in guitar masses at St. Patrick's Church in Dallas, and she has been the leader of the Saturday night choir at Sacred Heart of Jesus since 1997. She is also on the Liturgy Committee and participates in the Shawl Ministry. 

Diane has been active in the Village Card Club since 1995 and served on its board for 2 years.  She is currently heading up the Swiss Team Marathon for the club.
