On Monday evening, January 27th, Council Life Director Bob Bowman presented two checks totaling $1,550 to Rose Mimms, Executive Director of Arkansas Right to Life. The presentation was made at the organization's "Bow Ties for Babies" fundraiser in Benton, AR. Arkansas Right to Life and its affiliates work to fight against abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia. The featured speaker at the event was former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee whom Mimms has described as Arkansas’s first pro-life governor.
