Rick Meyers and Karen |
Rick and Karen Meyers are an excellent example of what it takes to become the March 2022 Knights Family of the Month. This family enjoys - and is exceptionally good at - working as a team behind the scenes on a multitude of projects to make them work. Here is a list, I'm sure a partial list of all that they do.
Both are Eucharistic Ministers at Sunday Mass.
Both Adoration participants since the start of our program at Sacred Heart.
Both on the decoration team to prepare the church for Christmas and Easter seasons.
Both maintain the weekly flowers surrounding the statue of the Blessed Mother outside the church office.
Both donate time and treasure to our Christmas and Thanksgiving Basket Program.
Both gate supporters for the CPID program.
Karen decorates the tables for major church dinner functions, such as Seminarians Annual Dinner and other Life Committee Dinners.
Karen is an active member of the LOSH.
Karen is a discussion leader at Good Sam's every Tuesday. This involves reading and discussions with the Seniors in Greenwood Manor.
Rick is Co-Captain of the KC's Jackson House Christmas Toys Program.
Rick is an active Bingo caller every month at Good Sam's.
Rick is on the Disaster Relief Team.
