Our Knight of the Month for February is Tony Cifelli.  Tony has been our wonderful Program Director for the past four years. Tony was the committee chair for the movie nights on September 28th and January 25th.  He participated in the Baby Bottle Campaign, Ham Sales, and The Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities.  He has been instrumental in the Treasure Sale, the Blind Bowling Camp, and the Special Olympics in Searcy for the last five years.  As a little side venture he’s the Assistant District Governor for the Arkansas Rotary, which he’s been a member of for 14 years.

He’s an active tennis player, pickle ball player, and occasionally enjoys a glass of wine.  What a man of leisure!  Let us all offer a word of congratulations for a job well done.

This month the Council recognized Brother Knight Ted Giraud at the Knight of the Month.  Ted joined our Council last year and is already a 3rd Degree Knight.  He assists with all our parish breakfasts, the spaghetti dinners, preparing and serving our Council dinners, and many other tasks.  Some of you may be aware that Ted works two jobs, one at Zoe’s in the culinary district and another at the Hot Springs Hotel.  Considering his work situation, Ted’s volunteerhours speak volumes for his commitment to the Knights of Columbus!  Keep up the good work Ted.  You’re an asset to this Council!!
