d at a little "Podunk"course in Red Oak. They also served as members of the pit crew at Casino parties which served as a fundraising project for the Knights of Columbus when various organizations hired them.

They moved to Hot Springs Village in September, 1993, and immediately became active in Knights of Columbus and church activities.  Dub is on the schedule for regular pickup and delivery offood donated by Sacred Heart Church to Jackson House. They deliver clothing, household goods, hygiene items to St.Francis House in Little Rock. Dub is also involved inpickup and delivery of items donated by Bath, Bath & Beyond in Hot Springs to St. Francis House.

Their most important project, and very dear to their hearts, is the Special Olympics. Geri began her volunteerism in Olympic Town in 1994 and Dub, seeing her enthusiasm, joined her in 1996. They schedule their yearly vacation and activities around the Special Olympics state competition and various associated activities and meetings required of Dub as Knights of Columbus State Chairman-Arkansas Special Olympics for the past four years. He refers to Geri as his co‑chairman. Without her, the job would not get done or run as smoothly as it does.

Dub is a Lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.

Diane & Bill have been married for 54 years and have 6 children, 11 grand-children, and one great-grandchild on the way.  They have been members of Sacred Heart Jesus for 19 years.  Diane has led the Church's Saturday night choir since 1997.  She is currently chair of the Liturgy Commission and a backup for Lynne Border when she is not available for the Sunday masses. Diane is also a member of the Resurrection Choir that sings at funerals.

Bill is a past Grand Knight (2002-2004), past Faithful Navigator (2006-2007), and past Men's Club President (2011-2013).  He served as coordinator for the recent Men's Club Fish Bake.  Bill served on the Pastoral Council and was its Chair in 2004-2005.  He is an altar server and a Eucharistic Minister.  Bill was the Council's Treasurer (2008-2010) and continues to serve on the 1st Degree Exemplification Team as Grand Knight, a position he has held for a number of years.

Dan has prepared the chili for Mardi Gras for the past eight years; has held Council Office as Inside and Outside Guard and Warden; held office in the Sacred Heart Men’s Club as Secretary and Membership Chairman for six years; and was Coordinator for Village Meals on Wheels at McCauley Center.  Dan is a waiter for the Men’s Club Fish Bake and Chicken Bake; has prepared hot meals at St. Francis House; supports Arkansas Men’s Retreat at Monserrat, and Is a new member of the Knights Honor Guard.  He co-chaired the Arkansas Knights Challenge Cup and has participated in the last six St John’s Golf Tournaments, has been a Hamster for our Ham Sales Program, and he is a Perpetual Adoration Adorer.

Kathy is a member of St. Anthony’ Guild, actively supports Mountain Pine Elementary School,  supports cookie bake sales, card parties and food drives in the Parish, is a Perpetual Adoration Adorer, and she has prepared the rice for the Mardi Gras shrimp creole for the past eight years, cooking 25 pounds of rice each time - that’s 200 pounds of rice. Together, they deliver Jackson House food, call Bingo at Good Samaritan’s Greenwood Manor, and deliver Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving Baskets.

Scott prepared food and handled 50/50 ticket sales for Mardi Gras, is the Inside Guard for Council,  is Sargent at Arms for the Men’s Club, is the Parish Breakfast Chairman, is a Waiter for Men’s Club Fish Bake and Chicken Bake, coordinated ticket sales and promotion, and was a waiter for the Seminarian Dinner.  He has participated in numerous Knights charity golf tournaments and is a Perpetual Adoration Adorer.

Jean has helped with the food preparation for Mardi Gras, is a member of the Rosary Makers, the Shawl Ministry, and the St. Anthony Guild.  She volunteers at Good Samaritan two days a week, is a Perpetual Adoration Adorer, a Helping Hands Volunteer, and is a member of the Cedar Mountain Singers.
