Tom Conrad February Knight of Month |
Tom actively volunteers every Monday at the Arkansas Food Bank/Rice Depot. They recently merged on 1/1/16. He works in the food portion;sorting, bagging, packaging food items for various agencies in the State of Arkansas.
Tom also helps with his wife Cindy, every Wednesday at the Jackson House in the food pantry section. He is, however, always ready to assist Janie, the director if she needs a fill in or other community activities for the crisis intervention's programs.
Tom also is co-chair of the ham sales for the Knights that provides Christmas presents for the needy children in the area. He has been busy doing Meals for Wheels in the month of February and other times during the year when needed, Tom also helps coordinate many youth programs including Junior Golf during the summer and free throw contests. He is a very active member of the disaster relief team. His newest endeavor was to assist Tom Donnelly for serving of the fourth degree dinner.
He is supported in all of his activities by his wonderful wife Cindy. A big shout out to Tom, for a job well done!

Russ has been a member of Sacred Heart Parish since 2001. He is a Mass server on Sunday's and at Funerals. He has been a VIRTUS Facilitator since 2009. Russ has also been very active in the food baskets program handlinf the pickup, sorting, and delivery.
Russ has also been very active in the CPID program, flags set up and take down for the Assembly, and a Flags forever chairman. He has been a past Grand Knight for Council 10208, as well as the Faithful Navigator for the Assembly. He has recently joined the Perpetual Adoration Team and is a 40 year member of the Knights of Columbus
Of course, like any successful man, Russ is supported in all that he does by his wonderful wife Sheilla, who is also very active in our Parish.
Let us all take time to congratulate Russ when we see him for his efforts and exemplary service. They have not gone unnoticed!
Ken Silvers December Knight of the Month |
Ken is very active in our Kitchen for all of our Council events. He is there for our Parish breakfasts, fish frys and bakes, chicken bakes, fall fest, as well as our regular Council meetings. He also volunteers at both the Seminarian and the St Johns golf tournaments. Ken is very active in or CPID programs and our Crosses for Life. He is very active in the food basket program. Ken actively \participates in Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. With all of the inclemant weather we have had the last couple of years, Ken has also been very busy as a member of our remarkable disaster relief team.
Ken is truly an example of an exemplary Knight. Let us all, first and foremost, thank God that Ken is a member of our council, and then congratulate him when you see him on a job well done!
