RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS: Council 996 of the Knights of Columbus desires to have one of its own elected to the position of State Advocate;
WHEREAS: Brother Michael Heathcott is currently serving as a trustee of council 996;
WHEREAS: Brother Michael Heathcott is currently serving in the position District Deputy of District 9;
WHEREAS: Brother Michael Heathcott served as Navigator of the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Patrick F. Horan 4th Degree Assembly for 2 years;
WHEREAS: Brother Michael Heathcott currently serves as Interim President of the River Valley Regional Food Bank Advisory Council;
WHEREAS: Brother Michael Heathcott is a Eucharistic minister to the sick at St. Edwards Mercy Hospital and Sts. Sabina and Mary Catholic Church;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the name of Brother Michael Heathcott is entered into the running for the position of State Advocate for the 2010-2011 year.
