RESOLUTION:

Whereas: Council 11604 of the Knights of Columbus desires to have one of there own
elected to the position of State Secretary, and

Whereas:  Brother Knight, Michael L. Kieffer, has served his Council as Grand Knight for two years, Financial Secretary six years, and numerous other officer director positions, and

Whereas: Brother Kieffer served two years as Faithful Navigator of Bishop Edward Fitzgerald Assembly, and

Whereas: Brother Kieffer serves the Church as an Extra Ordinary Minister of the Eucharistic, and

 Whereas: Brother Kieffer is a 20 year Veteran of the U. S. Air Force and is currently a Court Security Officer at the Federal Court House in Little Rock.

 Whereas: Brother Kieffer serves his community as an active member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion and as a Director of Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, and

 Whereas:  Brother Kieffer and his wife, Louise were State Family of the Year for 2005-2006, and

 Whereas: Brother Kieffer has served as State Family Director, State Warden, State Advocate and is presently Serving as State Treasurer, and

Therefore Be It Resolved: That the name of Brother Michael L. Kieffer is entered into the running for the position of State Secretary for the 2010 – 2011 year.
