Ron Cuba Knight of the month July

Ron Cuba is our Knight of the Month for July 2023. Also receiving the award with him is his lovely wife Pat. For anyone that has been around Knights and Knights functions you know all of the things that Ron has been included in. Most recently Ron retired from the Warden position - I'm not sure that anyone has an accurate count of how many times Ron has been our Warden and how many other positions he has filled throughout the years. I would guess that Ron has put in more working hours for the Knights than anyone else.

Congratulations to Ed Aucoin for receiving the April 2023 Knight of the Month Award for his Blessed Work with the Blood Drive!!
Ed has been involved with .Blood Drive for the past 12+ years.
On average, there are about 25 (roughly half) of teh donors are associated with the Knights of Columbus/Sacred Heart Church.  There are an average of 45-50 donors per Blood Drive.
For the calendar year 2022, there were 30 gallons donated.  This came from both the Knights and the members of Village United Methodist Church, an aveage of 40 pints per drive, and this average does not include the collection of double red blood cells which is 3-5 per drive.
New Donors are always welcome!!  As with anything in the Village, the population is getting older and many donors have been lost due to health reasons.
A reward well deserved!!
