Bill is a member of Arkansas Pharmacists Association and Military Officers Association of America (MOAA). For the Knights of Columbus, Bill is in the 4th Degree Honor Guard, former deputy grand knight, membership director of both the Council and the Assembly, and Council lecturer. Recently, he chaired the KC Vaccines Project, was deputy chair and the auctioneer of the Fall Fest, and is currently deputy chair of the Holiday Ham Sales. Bill is also a perpetual adorer.


MILT SPANIEL
Milt has served as the Community Director for Council 10208 for the past five years with 14 chairmen on the Community's 14 Programs.   The major effort and progress have been the Campaign for People with Intellectual Disabilities (CPID). During these past four years, the annual amount of funds raised increased from $6,000 to $23,000 under his leadership with 145 Knights and spouses at gates and businesses. The majority of the $17,000 increase has been due to Milt's chairing the banks and businesses with 17 volunteer solicitors increased from $390 in 2011 to $10,000 from 74 businesses in 2014.

Milt's Recognition by the Knights of Columbus:
Knight of the Year - 2 times; Knight of the Year Award from the Arkansas State Council in 2004; Knight of the Year candidate to Arkansas State Council in 2013; Knight of the Month - 7 times; grant writer that has netted $3,500 from Walmart; assisted in recruiting 25 volunteer Knights and spouses to Special Olympics; co-founder of Petit Jean ham sales in 2006; manages volunteers to call Friday evening bingo at Good Sam; annually helps distribute baskets of food and gifts to families in need; picks up and delivers food from the Rice Depot to 8 families and delivers food collected at Sacred Heart to Jackson House; with his spouse, attends weekly Adoration Chapels at St. Vincent's and Sacred Heart; attends the Silent Retreat at Montserrat; is a member of Sacred Heart's Disaster Response Team; and, for the Youth program, Milt has volunteered as a fundraiser and golf instructor to the Junior Golf program for the past 12 years.
