The program director typically reports to the grand knight, but that may change each fraternal year, based upon the preference of the grand knight in consultation with the Board of Directors.   The program director plays a key role in working with the Board of Directors to lay out the programs and activities that will be undertaken during the fraternal year. 

Once approved,  each program is assigned to one of the six directors for implementation, and  they are listed under the PROGRAM section of the web site.  He then works with his deputy and directors to ensure that the programs and activities are implemented in a timely and professional manner.   He may need to assist his directors in finding competent members to chair each of the individual programs.  Ideally, the chairs are identified early in the fraternal year and are listed with the program on the web site for easy reference by the officers, directors, and members. 

The program director may want to play an active role in the selection of his directors.
